What we do
Preach the Gospel to the ends of the world
Our primary mission is to bring the Good News to people who have never known Christ. From the heart of India to the depths of the Amazon, from the Indochinese peninsula to the shores of Lake Malawi, we are winning souls where no one else dares to go.
Different vocations united for the salvation of souls

The OGP platform coordinates teams composed of priests, seminarians, and lay people.

Our missions range from direct preaching to building churches and schools, and charity work to help the most disadvantaged. All our missions have the explicit goal of proclaiming Christ, which is the most charitable act of all.

Cyclical missions in the service of the universal Church
The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. We aim to reach as many souls as possible by sending out missionaries on a cyclical and often itinerant basis and by entrusting our efforts to the local ecclesiastical hierarchy between missions. Nourished by the Holy Eucharist and protected by the prayer of the Rosary, our missionary teams push back the frontiers of the Church with each mission.
Mission Areas

Sent by the Holy Father, we proclaim the Catholic faith in:

  • Areas with no Christians
  • Areas with no Catholics
  • Areas with a nascent Church

Currently, OGP conducts permanent missions and missionary expeditions in Malawi, the Himalayas, the Amazon, rural areas of Ecuador and Panama, the Indochinese peninsula, and Pakistan through the PaX project. You can find our missionary calendar here.

Different missionary roles within the OGP
Each missionary contributes to the success of the mission in their own way.
If you feel God's call to become a missionary, you also have a talent to cultivate in order to save souls.
Benefactors

Benefactors contribute financially to the completion of missions, either on a one-off or regular basis. We can only carry out our missions thanks to your donations! Find out how to donate here.

Coordinators
The coordinators work on the mission both upstream and in the field. This includes the team of organizers, communicators, translators, recruiters and trainers for the missions.
Preachers
Preachers preach and administer the sacraments. As priests, you can contact us to participate in a mission, in agreement with your diocese or community.
As lay people, you may be asked to teach catechism alongside our priests, prepare children and adults for their first confession, and share the Catholic faith through your prayers and discussions. Part of the mission could also be manual work.
Prayers

All missionaries in the field pray for the fruits of the mission and for the conversion of the souls entrusted to them.

But did you know that it is also possible to join our missions in prayer from your own home and thus participate in this much-needed apostolate? You too can take part in this great work here.
